Where our story began~

Where our story began~
I want my children to know that the temple is my favorite place to be. It is there that I am closest to my father in Heaven. I have a great love for the work that goes on in the temple. I know that we have a great work to do while we are here on earth and I am priveledged to be a part of that work. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ as my savior and redeemer. He has never let me down, not once.....I'm so blessed to have children that know at a young age who they are and what they stand for. I'm greatful for the Christlike examples in our lives. We are surrounded by people we love and that love us, what a blessing. The temple is where our story, The Taylor Story began....I pray that it is only the begining of a legacy of faith, service, love, obedience and happiness. Much Love~ Mom

Gold~EEE~Lox...

Watch out young people here he comes! Complete with blue and purple swirls on her plush seats. Mint condition I tell you! Mint condition! Funny story really, we had been to a couple classes about paying off debt quickly! In one of the classes it was mentioned to pay off your vehicles. One of the cars at the top of the list for overall usage for cheap was the "OLDSmobile" notice the word old in that car? Anyhoo....we just laughed at the thought. After all we already have two cars....right? Soon after our Saturn was stolen!! Our insurance man calls and says "Hey I have A client who's Grandma just died. She drove an Oldsmobile, it has 24,000 miles on it if your interested!" Well it's truly amazing the blessings that can come from sorrows but they do...We feel blessed. As we were driving away in our new ride we noticed a Cd in the Cd player...We couldn't help but think of the darling little white headed lady driving this car! She is barley able to see over the steering wheel jammin out to Dean Martin....her favorite I'm sure. We laughed at the thought for one.... of the purchase we had just made and two...the music we enjoyed the whole way home~ I couldn't stop laughing! The car is a 1999 and still looks new. Nothing like being pushed into debt reduction! HA HA...DPS found our Saturn, we are just waiting to see what the insurance wants to do with a car that's not worth much and needs some work. They apparently had a pot party and got the munchies soon after (Mickey D's garbage and stink!)....a ruined ignition of coarse and a little body damage. Nothing big, but when the cars not worth much anyway they might just total it. In the mean time Grand Pappy Daddy has new wheels that are really old wheels...The neighbor boy came over laughing hysterically at our new find...he quickly put his "too Cool" sunglasses on Mike so we could snap some Pict's. He already wants us to put some sweet rims on it so she's really awesome. I Can't wait till the boys at work get a hold of this one, they teased him about the Saturn! Love you honey and our new Gold Nugget! We are excited to grow old together, I think with this new car we just aged about fourty years!

She's a golden beauty! You really need a loud stereo to pimp it up a bit. No wait a minute...you don't want it stolen! Do they still steal those cars? :-)
Although it's fun to joke about, it's a car, has low miles and came at the right time. Enjoy the wheels and the bonus cd! Hey, we joke with the inlaws and their new car. They're not old enough for that towncar. YIKES!

What a great find! I think the car looks great, but there's always the chance of getting on "Pimp my Ride."
