Where our story began~

Where our story began~
I want my children to know that the temple is my favorite place to be. It is there that I am closest to my father in Heaven. I have a great love for the work that goes on in the temple. I know that we have a great work to do while we are here on earth and I am priveledged to be a part of that work. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ as my savior and redeemer. He has never let me down, not once.....I'm so blessed to have children that know at a young age who they are and what they stand for. I'm greatful for the Christlike examples in our lives. We are surrounded by people we love and that love us, what a blessing. The temple is where our story, The Taylor Story began....I pray that it is only the begining of a legacy of faith, service, love, obedience and happiness. Much Love~ Mom

Nana Lu our Gift~

This is our miracle, in more ways than one might I add! It was twenty years ago that she stumbled into our lives! Actually longer than that! Its a love story really, one with a happy ending!! I like those kind. When my mom was still alive, we had a neighbor who ran the dairy next door....In the country, next door is a half a mile apart. To be exact I grew up on 195th Ave. and Indian school. It's weird to pass bye on my way to Verado. I used to be bussed into Avondale to go to Auga Fria, weird having to take Maddy out West now...Any whoo back to the love story. My parents would visit with our neighboring dairy friend often and on one visit my Mom looked at this enormous picture of a young girl (15 I THINK)on their wall. Craig, my Mom said that's who you will Marry when I die. This was not an uncommon conversation with our family, we grew up knowing her time was short.... SOOO fast forward a bit...Mom dies (Two years go by) and sure enough, Mary the picture girl comes to visit her Aunt and Uncle from Mexico....Neighbor man comes over and Wammo! Love is in the air. The two date by mail for about...lets say ooooo a very short time, despite the language barrier!!! The rest is history. Taking on my Dad, Graduating from ASU, giving us three wonderful siblings, taking on my Dad.....Did I mention taking on my Dad...You don't know how indebted we are to Nana Lu...Last February we almost lost Mary....Given a ten percent chance to live, the Lord saw it fit to let her stay. After twenty seven days in the hospital, our angel miraculously walked away from an aneurysm, not the norm. Mary was a gift from God not only once, but twice in our life time. She has help mend hearts that were broken, encouraged a family that fell apart, Nurtured a man that lost hope, Our Nana helped the sun shine again! Thank you for your wonderful example to all of us...We love you!! Happy Birthday
