Where our story began~

Where our story began~
I want my children to know that the temple is my favorite place to be. It is there that I am closest to my father in Heaven. I have a great love for the work that goes on in the temple. I know that we have a great work to do while we are here on earth and I am priveledged to be a part of that work. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ as my savior and redeemer. He has never let me down, not once.....I'm so blessed to have children that know at a young age who they are and what they stand for. I'm greatful for the Christlike examples in our lives. We are surrounded by people we love and that love us, what a blessing. The temple is where our story, The Taylor Story began....I pray that it is only the begining of a legacy of faith, service, love, obedience and happiness. Much Love~ Mom

Mesa, Temple

I love this display at the temple, it is very humbling not only to see Isaiah prophesying of Christ, but to see Mary and Joesph and their humble but sacred circumstances.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
The stars are always a magnificent thing, the map through out time for those who traveled. Now we just lay on our backs in our backyard and gaze at them~how lucky for us (map Quest). The Shepard's had a different purpose for those blessings!
Luke 2:15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, let us go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
We met Chris and Jeff in our last Ward when Mike and I were newly married. Mike worked nights and Sundays when he first started his job so I went to church with Maddy, then a baby by myself. Our first Sunday there Chris introduced herself and latched on....upon Closer observation they learned I was not sixteen and single, but married and twenty one...we have loved each other ever since!! Service project or not! Just the girls, well mostly...one forehead...our photographer is so amateur...MIKE!!! My eyeballs are afraid of bright light apparently, I can never take just one shot in the dark, my eyes are always shut! I love this man so much~ (and little elf) We stayed warm all night with hot chocolate and good company~
