Where our story began~

Where our story began~
I want my children to know that the temple is my favorite place to be. It is there that I am closest to my father in Heaven. I have a great love for the work that goes on in the temple. I know that we have a great work to do while we are here on earth and I am priveledged to be a part of that work. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ as my savior and redeemer. He has never let me down, not once.....I'm so blessed to have children that know at a young age who they are and what they stand for. I'm greatful for the Christlike examples in our lives. We are surrounded by people we love and that love us, what a blessing. The temple is where our story, The Taylor Story began....I pray that it is only the begining of a legacy of faith, service, love, obedience and happiness. Much Love~ Mom

Happiness is....Thrifty Ice cream dates with Grandma!

This is why we are the way we are!! The saying the apple doesn't fall from the tree holds large amounts of truth! We are crazy around here and this is our genetic make-up to prove it! We had a delightful date with my Grandma~ After a yummy lunch we had my Grandma's signature dessert. When we were little kids my Grandma would always take us out to Thrifty ice cream for a treat. Boy did we ever get a treat! Grammy is 81, you would never know it...She acts like she's about 16...but with an awesome attitude! He He It's amazing how a person's attitude can change your day! This was the most friendly man I think I have ever encountered! He brought such joy and laughter into our day! It was an amazing teaching moment for our seven children and three adults that he so happily served~ A simple Water and Ice employee so happy to be doing his job. The kids had a great time and smiled all the while....because of him Mr. Water and Ice of the year... After we all got our ice cream we asked if he would mind taking a picture "meaning one of all of us" The sweet little flattered man jumped right in with our family, grinning from ear to ear. The kids and Grandma just giggled at his enthusiasm! I again asked if he would then take one of us, which he gladly accepted! What a fun memory he made for us...He wouldn't let us leave without a gift from him! A 2009 calender~
