Where our story began~

Where our story began~
I want my children to know that the temple is my favorite place to be. It is there that I am closest to my father in Heaven. I have a great love for the work that goes on in the temple. I know that we have a great work to do while we are here on earth and I am priveledged to be a part of that work. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ as my savior and redeemer. He has never let me down, not once.....I'm so blessed to have children that know at a young age who they are and what they stand for. I'm greatful for the Christlike examples in our lives. We are surrounded by people we love and that love us, what a blessing. The temple is where our story, The Taylor Story began....I pray that it is only the begining of a legacy of faith, service, love, obedience and happiness. Much Love~ Mom

A note from Dad~

Good morning everyone,
Here is what I learned last night during family home evening. Hard work makes you tired! If we take turns, we don't get so tired. It is ok to tell someone you are tired and ask for help. We didn't finish our turtle's home in one day. We did have a plan, but it will still take several days to complete it. If we work at it a little every day, we will be done soon. We just have to stick to the plan and work together!
This is like living the gospel. Sometimes life is hard, even more than we can handle on our own. If we work together it won't be so hard. It is ok to tell someone you are having a bad time or a bad day. It is ok to ask for help or to help someone who seems to be struggling. We can't gain our eternal home in one day. It takes a lot of time! So we have to work at it a little every day. We just have to stick to the plan and work together.
Thank you for your help on the turtle's home, and for working together to gain our eternal home.
Love, Dad

Wow, Little Brother, that's pretty profound. I love it! By the way, I'm thinking about buying a turtle...what are you doing next week for FHE?
