To my children,
Since I was a little girl, I have been surrounded by love and strength. With my mother that enjoyed every living minute she had. She conquered and accomplished much in her thirty two years on this earth. From her I learned how to endure, how to work hard and how to find peace and happiness from the simple pleasures life brings. Her illness became a hobby for my parents, they loved each other and we felt it!

They taught us things that have sustained Auntie and I in hard times. Through their example we learned how to be happy when life doesn't go the way we plan. We learned how to laugh at ourselves~ We learned how to stand tall after we are knocked down. We learned how to have faith in each other and that time heals things. I am grateful for her strong example, though short lived her positive out look on her life has carried me through many trials. This is her birthday month, we are sealing her to her parents...Happy Birthday Mom! We are richly blessed~
Dance like no one is watching~
Sing like no one is listening~
Love like you've never been hurt before~

Your mom has to be one of the biggest characters that ever walked this earth! Fortunately she left a tremendous legacy with you and Tracy, and now with her grandchildren. Her influence lives on through you.

As I read this, through my tears I thought about how proud your mom has to be of you. You are such an amazing person Dawn, and out of probably one of the most difficult trials, the loss of a mother, you have come out conquerer. Thank YOU for your great example to all of us.
