Where our story began~

Where our story began~
I want my children to know that the temple is my favorite place to be. It is there that I am closest to my father in Heaven. I have a great love for the work that goes on in the temple. I know that we have a great work to do while we are here on earth and I am priveledged to be a part of that work. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ as my savior and redeemer. He has never let me down, not once.....I'm so blessed to have children that know at a young age who they are and what they stand for. I'm greatful for the Christlike examples in our lives. We are surrounded by people we love and that love us, what a blessing. The temple is where our story, The Taylor Story began....I pray that it is only the begining of a legacy of faith, service, love, obedience and happiness. Much Love~ Mom

Day #1 How prepared are we?

“To become self-reliant, a person must work. Work is physical, mental, or spiritual effort. It is a basic source of happiness, self-worth, and prosperity. Through work, people accomplish many good things in their lives.
“As people become self-reliant, they are better prepared to endure adversities” and are “better able to care for others in need.”
Elder M. Russele Ballard
This is a letter our family received to practice using our emergency 72 hour kits to better prepare us for un seen emergencies.
All Priesthood leaders should have been contacted last night (June 3rd) to initiate our Emergency Notification Plan.
Just a reminder that all families should be notified that we would like them to use their 72 hour kits for the next 72 hours.
This is part of our Stake's Emergency Notification Plan.
Please have families send us an e-mail that they were notified to our Stake's e-mail address at goodyearstake@cox.net
If families don't have e-mail addresses please have Home Teachers or Priesthood leaders send information to the Stake's e-mail address that those families were contacted.
Thanks for your support.
Goodyear Stake Presidency
Come what may and love it!
