Our arrival at girls camp brought the digging of trenches in case of rain, we took our time on this one! I think we accomplished the complete square around the tent on the third day! Way to go Amanda!

Kacee and Sister take their turns at the digging of the trenches!

On our first day, we all smelled so good and appeared to be well groomed! This is Kacee so bright eyed and always cheerful!

All the Beehives or "First Years Girls really" were presented with Crowns on the first day. If they were caught without their crown on, they had to break out in song! Our girls were very careful not to get caught!! Way to go girls!

They were good sports about the whole thing!! Shooting guns, hiking, and archery are a bit tricky sporting a crown!!

Madeline's friend Madison is here from Germany, the girls were thrilled to be able to go to camp together! It was the first year for both girls~ They had the time of their life~

Brittnay is one of "My Girls" I have known her for seven years, it has been amazing to watch her grow into such a beautiful young woman! These were crafts and notes that the girls enjoyed~

Journal writing was a favorite of Alex's! She loves nature and collected every different kind of flower you can possibly imagine!! Her journal was a botanical garden and smelled Heavenly at the end of the week.

The girls had a day of team building games, they had a ton of fun and learned a little bit about communication skills. We broke off into groups, I Was able to stay with the first years (Maddy's group)

The girls had to put the pipe under the front of the plank and catch the pipe coming out of the back end, pass it forward and row to the finish line...a tricky task!

The girls here were divided into two teams, the object was to get their whole team on the opposite end of the log without touching the ground~!

This knot of girls had to untangle themselves without losing each other grip~

An underneath shot of unity~

After all the hard work Sister Hayes takes a relaxing break in the pines~

This was skit night, we were given a bag of goodies that were "Green" for Knowledge. The girls came up with a skit using the things we were given.
~

Now this looks familiar!

Although hard to tell Brooke is wearing a wig for the skit, it was so close to her natural hair color it looked as though she had just stepped out of the salon~

This was just to dang funny not to have a picture of~ Speaks for itself~

Our trusty comodes, had the scent of Cinnamon airfreshners at the beggining of the week~At the end of the week my gag reflex would get going, it was hard to get it under control!

Sister Garcia was quietly sitting at a picnic table peacefully, I didn't know she was reding her scriptures, so I snuck up behind her her and RRRRRAAAAAA I screamed! Boy I think she litterally came out of her skin....this was taken shortly after she returned to her skin.

Beautiful Babies~ Preparing for skit night was quite the undertaking, the girls stuck together and did a fabulous job!!

Alex the Flower fairy~

My girl and I....I tried not to harass her to bad!

an outstanding job posing as our disco ball~
The girls hangin out in the tent...
This was a fun day for all of us~

the girls got to see how it feels to bow hunt!

As Nephi had to hunt for his family, the girls were lucky enough to hit a hay bail, its a good thing we did not have to hunt for our own food!!~

These girls got to be pretty darn good, maybe we would have survived after all!

This is Emily and her mad hatchet throwing skills

Maddie was having so much fun she knocked her crown off!

Madison~
Getting Ready to slide of a perfectly good Cliff!
WWWOOOOOHHHOOOOOOO!!!
Rapelling was my favorite! President Hayes nearing the end of his thirty five foot drop! Not far enough!!

Maddy's friend Makenzie over the edge. Once the girls were over the intial lip the trip down was alot of fun!

The two Maddy's and Brooke found a nooke to hide in while the girls came down~
Our fearless camp director, what an undertaking...Great job Girl~

The hike and lake day was a blast~
We hike down to the lake, canoe'd and played on inner tubes~
We relaxed, had snacks and enjoyed the sun shine in the mountains!
Tiff and Kim Bland hangin out~
Sister Vehar kept us entertained throughout the week...At different times she would randomly flip off her cot and land on top of Maddi Smith...it always ended up in thunderous laughter!
Sister Eich scrubbed her feet and this is how they looked afterward....sap and dirt don't mix....It took my feet three complete washes before they came clean!!
(Random Thoughts taken from Tiffs Blog)
I thought I'd just give you all a sweet little taste of the memories of our awesome adventures at Girls Camp!!! On the way home from camp, Tiff's car load of girls consisted of four beautiful YW. Of the four, three had nausea all the way home and of those three, one..we won't mention any names.....Uhhuummm..Kaceeeee....;) needed to pull over to the side of the road a few times. The second time we pulled over, Sis. Eich decided to climb through a barbed-wire fence to go Pee-pee in the woods. She made it to the "other side" ok, but when she was finished with her 'business', she totally got her crotch hooked on the Bobbed-wire!!! These photos compliments of Tiff...of Me trying to "UNBOB" TJ!!... .....

hahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHahahahahahahahahahahahAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Stay tuned for words from our sponsor...I mean camp director
Tiff:
"We're glad you're UNHOOKED SIS. EICH!!! We're also thankful that Sis. Taylor is a member of the EBWRS....."Emergency Bobbed Wire Rescue Squad"!! Be sure to give them both a big "high five" when you see them at church!"
Camp was a blast, we as girls bonded....and I mean bonded...ha ha...We learned new things and gained a stronger testimony of the Savior. What a great work we are a part of...what a rich life we live!
