Where our story began~

Where our story began~
I want my children to know that the temple is my favorite place to be. It is there that I am closest to my father in Heaven. I have a great love for the work that goes on in the temple. I know that we have a great work to do while we are here on earth and I am priveledged to be a part of that work. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ as my savior and redeemer. He has never let me down, not once.....I'm so blessed to have children that know at a young age who they are and what they stand for. I'm greatful for the Christlike examples in our lives. We are surrounded by people we love and that love us, what a blessing. The temple is where our story, The Taylor Story began....I pray that it is only the begining of a legacy of faith, service, love, obedience and happiness. Much Love~ Mom

Promptings are blessings~

Mike and I have started a new tradition for holidays. To help each other out we circle things in magazines that we would like. For Fathers day Mike gave me a Harbor Freight magazine. We went to Harbor freight on Thursday night to shop for his circled items. We called Grandpa for a date since the store is at 35Th ave. and Bethany Home Road, not the friendliest part of town you ever knew! On our way there Grandpa called and said he couldn't go, so we continued on our way to the store. Wanting to let Mike know where we were going I called his cell and left him a message.
"Hey we're going to 35Th Ave. and Bethany Home if we come up missing~te- he"
We found the goodies that were circled in purple highlighter with some help!
(being in Harbor Freight is like Mike being in a scrap booking Store!)
Next door was a Wal-Mart... with girls camp, a wedding and family being in town, I thought it a grand idea to go and pick up some last minute things. As we drove around the parking lot to find a parking spot I looked around and had a strong feeling to leave and not shop in that part of town. I told the kids,
Let's go dad wouldn't want us shopping here alone.
The receipt from harbor Freight said 5:30, by the time we left the parking lot it was 5:40. Mike calls around six o'clock....
"Hey what time were you at Harbor Freight??"
"There was a big shooting!!"
The 911 calls started coming in at 5:54. We are so thankful for promptings and the blessings that came our way last night. In a crazy world filled with chaos, angels are still about us, watching over us.
