Where our story began~

Where our story began~
I want my children to know that the temple is my favorite place to be. It is there that I am closest to my father in Heaven. I have a great love for the work that goes on in the temple. I know that we have a great work to do while we are here on earth and I am priveledged to be a part of that work. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ as my savior and redeemer. He has never let me down, not once.....I'm so blessed to have children that know at a young age who they are and what they stand for. I'm greatful for the Christlike examples in our lives. We are surrounded by people we love and that love us, what a blessing. The temple is where our story, The Taylor Story began....I pray that it is only the begining of a legacy of faith, service, love, obedience and happiness. Much Love~ Mom

Gila Valley Temple Trip~

We had a fabulous weekend!  We are all very blessed to be able to go to two temple open houses ~  Our children have the sacred opportunity to walk through two temples before being dedicated...a blessing that used to be  rare, but with the building of so many new temples when the economy was still good, we are blessed to be at the tail end of the massive push for the building of temples under the direction of President Hinckley.

We met the Ritz's and their six kiddos in Safford and spent an awesome spirit filled weekend at the temple.  Our tour had thirteen kids in it~  You could have heard a pin drop...THE WHOLE TIME!  The tour guides were awesome, they let us take what time we needed, the kids were in awe and now have a slight understanding of our love for that sacred place.
It was a bit overwhelming for me to have all of my children in the celestial room at the same time.  It really made Mike and I think about the importance of teaching our children the Gospel and the sacred covenants we make when we are in the Lords House.
