Where our story began~

Where our story began~
I want my children to know that the temple is my favorite place to be. It is there that I am closest to my father in Heaven. I have a great love for the work that goes on in the temple. I know that we have a great work to do while we are here on earth and I am priveledged to be a part of that work. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ as my savior and redeemer. He has never let me down, not once.....I'm so blessed to have children that know at a young age who they are and what they stand for. I'm greatful for the Christlike examples in our lives. We are surrounded by people we love and that love us, what a blessing. The temple is where our story, The Taylor Story began....I pray that it is only the begining of a legacy of faith, service, love, obedience and happiness. Much Love~ Mom

Papa's Cabin~

This is literally Papa's favorite song...it is after all his life~
ReALLy!!!!
Papa's Love is building, creating and the beauty  of nature that his cabin brings...in the middle of nowhere....you can hear yourself breath!!  Papa is part caveman I think...I love my dad ~he is the best! Any time we can sneak away from the "City Life"  we go see Papa's place....We love it!
We grew up with Papa building our house...a little at a time...he paid cash for everything he did...the good ol days...when you worked hard....paid in cash....blood ...sweat and tears.   He is still that way...so his cabin has come along..like our house...slow...but...paid for...satisfaction...gratification...blood sweat and tears....literally!  My Mom died before our house was built...she never saw it finished....We almost lost our beloved Nana lu in the middle of the cabin building...oddly enough like history repeated itself...down to the last line...but miracles happen...and she was spared...with less than a 10% chance...Nana fought...and beat the odds......Papa is a strong man...oh how we live and admire his strength...he can almost move mountains...in fact growing up....He did...because we are all here despite our trials...Papa moved Mountains...for us..he stood strong, when we could not~
Papa is a jack of all trades..he can do anything...give him a book...he reads it and does it...amazing I think.  He even built his own stair case...in his classy home in Mesa.....lives a carpenter~
He taught us the value of HARD WORK...he continues teaching that to my kiddos~I am grateful for that~
As a kid he would work hard all day long, giving me one chore that I thought I would die over...then we would go to Circle K and get treats...
Little did I know that papa was really exhausted...he was just being a good dad~
Messin around.....he also taught us how to have fun...life can't be so serious all the time......RiGhT????

The work of a carpenter~A father~A Papa

We love you Papa...AnD  Who left that door open!!  Were you born in a barn!!!!
