Where our story began~

Where our story began~
I want my children to know that the temple is my favorite place to be. It is there that I am closest to my father in Heaven. I have a great love for the work that goes on in the temple. I know that we have a great work to do while we are here on earth and I am priveledged to be a part of that work. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ as my savior and redeemer. He has never let me down, not once.....I'm so blessed to have children that know at a young age who they are and what they stand for. I'm greatful for the Christlike examples in our lives. We are surrounded by people we love and that love us, what a blessing. The temple is where our story, The Taylor Story began....I pray that it is only the begining of a legacy of faith, service, love, obedience and happiness. Much Love~ Mom

The best things in life~

We went camping on the beach in San Clemente California with our life time friends and singles ward junkie buddies the Moore's!  This was a trip to celebrate life, this life, and eternal life.  It was a healing trip~
It was a glorious trip!
Tommy, Lydia, Emmy and David
My Babies~
Oooooo la la...We have celebrated sixteen years together...We were married one week apart~
I never dreamed as a little girl that my life would be the way it is...with my best friend~
We still gots it after all these years!!!!

We lived for a week like beach bums...without a care in the world....enjoying the majesties given as a gift from a loving Father~
The parachute was a favorite~
We had the privilege of seeing dolphins, seals, crabs, sharks, jellyfish, starfish and surfers!!  Jake even got to throw a shark back in the water that one of the locals caught~
Brenn and Emmy~

We made sand castles and mermaids~
And had sand fights like a bunch of two year olds~
 Tracy Won!
The little mermaid~

The Boy's
Were in Heaven`
On Earth~
The played football for hours
And hours~
Maddy and Audrey relax after boogie boarding the day away~
We pondered life~
Dave was brave enough to man the ocean in his kayak and quickly came to the conclusion that the ocean was all powerful and that~ that sort of thing needed more practice~  It was awesome to see his feet in the air and the sweet kart wheels he was able to do when the tide came in!!

We never got tired of building sand castles~
Maddy's Gecko~
My Girl~
The boogie boards were amazing...we would paddle out as far as we could go and let the tide bring us in...We laughed so long our stomach's were sore~
But it didn't stop us~
We took naps~
And long walks~
Gilligan's Island
The kids made this amazing fort lined with sea weed beads for a door, lined with a rock path...They wove a door out of bamboo!  I mean a real door!!  It was sweet!!  It took them the whole week....
Mike looks like he's from the seventies..a little to much sun!!  I couldn't get him out of the water!
SEE~
And more sandcastles...We almost had a city!!
But the foolish man built his house upon the sand...
Well we all know the rest....
The girls loved the ocean~
The ocean loved them~
We forgot about life for a while and fell in love..over and over~
The Moore babies soaking up the sun~

Sometimes life is a blast.....
sometimes it seems almost to hard to bear~
that's what the beach is for...
To remember all of those things.....what life is about~
The balance of joy, of grief, of learning, laughing, loving, crying and healing~
We did all of those things~
Pushing through those times with people you love~
gaining strength and knowledge
When we seem buried~
We learn to appreciate the beauty in it all~
Even showing strength from time to time!
This little guy came to visit our camp...he tried scraping the grease up from dinner...he licked and licked his paws wondering why it was so yummy but nothing was there to eat.
We went to the pier listened to a live band....ate junk food and peeked at the sea lions on their far away island.
We had the time of our lives~
