Where our story began~

Where our story began~
I want my children to know that the temple is my favorite place to be. It is there that I am closest to my father in Heaven. I have a great love for the work that goes on in the temple. I know that we have a great work to do while we are here on earth and I am priveledged to be a part of that work. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ as my savior and redeemer. He has never let me down, not once.....I'm so blessed to have children that know at a young age who they are and what they stand for. I'm greatful for the Christlike examples in our lives. We are surrounded by people we love and that love us, what a blessing. The temple is where our story, The Taylor Story began....I pray that it is only the begining of a legacy of faith, service, love, obedience and happiness. Much Love~ Mom

Happy Anniversary it's not our time~

The kids put a note and the foot of our door that said
"Do not Come Out"
At nine o'clock we got breakfast in bed
Biscuits and gravy, fruit
and oj...in bed~
When  we came down stairs our kitchen was heart attacked~
We love you kiddos!
We took the kids to the Arizona Grand for the night, we played at the water park for two days!  It was so beautiful!
 Our Room~

The slides and the lazy river were the best!  Except the major wedgie i got shooting down the slide at warp speed!

We got rained out the last night about six o'clock...they closed the park and shoo'ed us out like a bunch of cattle in two minutes or less.  It was awesome!!  We were done anyways, the storm came in quick and violent.  We got on the freeway to go home...our windshield wiper broke.  I unbuckled to push the wiper down so they would work again....Mike tried to stop to miss a car that had stopped in front of us...our car went off the road into the dirt and did a 180....as we were spinning all I could say was
"I don't have my seat belt on!"
We managed to miss everything..on a busy free way!
We ended up six inches from the freeway divider.  We we stopped sliding mike was very proud of his driving skills!
"YESSSSSSSS!  We missed it!"
I am grateful for his driving range practice!!  His sweet skills payed off~
A man drove by yelling out his window that
"We got Lucky!"
No we were Blessed~
We counted sixty seven cars in different accidents shortly after ours...with in a mile stretch.
The final count on the news was sixty nine.
Here is the news clip:

Missed it by six inches, I am thrilled it wasn't our time to go home!!!!

D@C 109:22
And we ask thee, Holy Father, that thy servants may go forth from this house armed with power, and that thy name may be upon them, and thy glory be round about them, and thine angels have charge over them.

For the past year and a half Mike and I have made it a tradition to go to the temple once a week.  We make it our weekly date night.  It has changed our lives.  It has changed our outlook.....it has changed our hearts....We, more than ever this year and a half  have felt the blessings of angles about us....The tender mercies of the lord....I am grateful after sixteen years to be married to man man who honors his priesthood, is slow to anger, works hard and loves his family.  The temple is the center of who we are.....thanks for taking me on so many eternal dates~
I love you!
