Where our story began~

Where our story began~
I want my children to know that the temple is my favorite place to be. It is there that I am closest to my father in Heaven. I have a great love for the work that goes on in the temple. I know that we have a great work to do while we are here on earth and I am priveledged to be a part of that work. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ as my savior and redeemer. He has never let me down, not once.....I'm so blessed to have children that know at a young age who they are and what they stand for. I'm greatful for the Christlike examples in our lives. We are surrounded by people we love and that love us, what a blessing. The temple is where our story, The Taylor Story began....I pray that it is only the begining of a legacy of faith, service, love, obedience and happiness. Much Love~ Mom

Police Work~

After eleven years of police work, every day is still interesting. When Mike goes to work, we say our prayers give kisses and off he goes. Its a job that has been a blessing for sure, but there are times when the wieght of the job is a lot to bear. A few months ago Mike was met out side a house by a little girl begging for help. A man had tried to hang himself in the family's garage. Mike did cpr on the man and was able to sustain his life for the time being. His family later took him off life support, but they were able to say goodbye. Last week Mike's commander came into briefing and awarded Mike with an award and a metal for saving the mans life. In this job when Mike comes home and says he's had a bad day, its usually at the cost of a life. We are so blessed to have a husband and father who loves his job and can bless the lives of others because of that dedication. We are able to teach our children many things about life, the consequences that come from poor decision making... the heart ache that is caused, by those actions. We are so honored to be a part of your life! Audrey says "Dad I love you you are my super hero!" We love you so much, what an awesome example of a father you are!
